Unable to set document root folder on NFS share

User_D91TLMar 27 2018 — edited Mar 28 2018

Hi, I'm trying to set an Apache HTTP file server on OL7 and having issues with the right permission, I have the same running on other Linux distro but cant get it to work on OL7. I have an NFS share mounted on an Oracle Linux and have set my root document folder to the mount directory, on the OS I can access the directory and read and delete files with no issue however when I attempt to launch a web browser to the http site I get a forbidden error.

I have tried to disable selinux set the root folder directory to the mount point, set the root folder to /var/www/tools and soft lint it to the mount point but nothing seems to work like I have it on Ubuntu. Is there any security feature of OL7 I'm not aware of?

Regards,

Ari
