Hi.

I Was installed FR in a server while opening the FR report it was fine while saving those report it was not accepting i am getting the below error. Could you please check and one and give feasible solution for this.

Error Message:

We are receiving multiple errors when trying to create reports and batches in the various Financial
Reporting applications.
The first error came after creating a report in Financial Reporting Studio and saving the report.
When closing the Financial Reporting Studio and reopening and trying to open the saved report we recieve
the following error.

HARSnapin Initialize()Error -2147467259 -; nested exception is:
java.rmi.ServerException; RemoteException occured in server thread; nested
exception is;
com.hyperion.reporting.util.HyperionReportingException: ;nested exception is'
java.lang.NullPointerException
Secondly when we try to open the same report from within the Workspace batch scheduler on the server,
we receive two different messages:
Error: Create connection failed [Cannot connect to olap service. Cannot connect to Essbase Server.
Error:Essbase Error(1051440): Essbase user [admin] Authentication Fails against the Shared Services
Server with Error [EPMCSS-00301: Failed to authenticate user. Invalid credentials. Enter valid credentials.]
[OlapServer=upebaseapp02; mode=EMBEDDED;]]
