We are using Oracle APEX deployed via ORDS and are facing an issue where two APEX applications cannot be used concurrently in the same browser session. When one APEX application is opened and then another is opened in a new tab (same workspace, same browser), the first application immediately shows “No Session,” and eventually the second one also loses session. Both applications share the same JSESSIONID (expected), and separate authentication tokens are generated and remain in the database, so this does not appear to be caused by logout logic.
Is this behavior expected in APEX under ORDS, and is there a supported way to allow multiple APEX applications to run simultaneously in the same browser session?
