Unable to run Java applet in new versions Chrome and will be completely disabled on this September

Problem Description

As per my knowledge chrome will stop applet loading support after September. Thereafter you will not be able to run any of our applications in chrome. Please see the below url

As it is we have to use above work around to run our application. We would like to know, is the way forward from Oracle side if this change get effect on coming September. Since all our applications run on Oracle Forms and Reports 11g2.

Pleas advise, are we to advice customer to use IE or some other which will support?
But what would be the answer to, if customer raise regarding the security etc?
