Unable to retrieve more than million records in toad

Hello,
I am running a sql query in toad which retrieves more than million records and the result has to be exported to excel. But I am unable to retrieve all the records using toad, after 9,00,000 records it raises an error and closes the toad. Can anyone please help me with this?
