Unable To Repair File System / Solaris 9

807559Feb 14 2006 — edited Mar 13 2006
Hi All,

I am fairly new to Solaris and am now in charge of administering a Sun box. My problem is when I reboot the server I get an error with the / filesystem. I ran the fsck command and this did not fix the problem. I have read how I need to use my boot cd, but I do not have a boot cd since someone downloaded the OS. My question is where can I specifically download the boot files that I can burn to a CD? The Solaris site is soo slow. Can anyone recommend anything else?

Thanks,
Dave

Here are the errors I get:

WARNING - Unable to repair the / filesystem. Run fsck
manually (fsck -F ufs /dev/rdsk/c0t0d0s0). Exit the shell when
done to continue the boot process.
