Unable to mount/access external Hard Disk which filesystem is HPFS/NTFS

Hi,

I am using OEL-5.8(64-bit), when connected external HDD (2 TB) unable to mount.

After going through few google article, I have installed the fuse and “yum install ntfs-3g”

FYI…

[root@erp1][/root]

# rpm -qa |grep fuse

fuse-2.6.3-1.el4.rf

fuse-ntfs-3g-2010.5.22-1.el5.rf

When trying to mount the , it not mounting, it is not erroring out also

mount -t ntfs-3g /dev/sdd1 /mnt/ntfs

Can anyone help me on this ?
