Unable to login to HSF using a non-native account

Hello- We are running Hyperion Strategic Finance 11.1.1.3. When I try to login to HSF client with a non-native (active directory) user account, I receive the "25:1005: Authentication failed for user....Enter valid credentials." error even though I am entering the correct credentials. Whereas, I don't encounter any issues when I use a generic native account to connect to HSF. Any ideas you may have will be greatly appreciated.
