Unable to log into OEM!

Hi

I have started my Oracle database, as well as my Oracle HTTP server on my machine. I can log into Apex also. But when I try to log into OEM (10g) it asks me to fill up host and database credentials for startup. That's fine, but even though I am correctly entering the host username and password, and also providing sysdba access for the database, I am always getting the following message:
RemoteOperationException: ERROR: Wrong password for user

I assure you that the password is correct, as I must have tried this about 20 times now. It's even more strange because I have faced this issue before on another system, and there when I filled in the host and database username and passwords, I was able to log into OEM normally. However, this system is always returning the RemoteOperatoinException!

Please help.
