"Unable to load resource.....jnlp" ??
I set the MIME type on our win2000 web sever.... got the old "Unable"
(the win2000 has a fixed IP mapped out to the world.. no go..)
our Debian box local address has
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20040113 Debian/1.5-2.0.0.lindows0.0.52.45+0
which claims to handle jnlp MIME type but no go...
bot web servers run the jar locally, but neither will transfer it across the network.
I seem to recall a year or 2 ago jar delivery was easier.
At teh moment I cant see any better solution than telling our clients to ftp a zip...
Sun has fallen into the XML trap ( at least it isnt the ASN.1 trap which killed
digital signatures for a decade...)
