Unable to launch 10g Report Builder in Windows 7 x64

Hi All,

I've been trying to run Oracle 10g - Report Builder app from a 64bit Windows 7 machine. I've read that Developer Suite 10g is not officially supported in Windows 7 (even more emphasis on x64) but that doesn't mean that it doesn't always work. I have a couple of colleagues who are working on the same hardware and software environment without any issues!.

When I try to launch the app (tried as administrator and winxp compatibility mode aswell), the splash screen comes up and then nothing happens. I'd have to use the windows taskmanager to kill the process. The windows error reporting tool reports this error for the hang-up

Uninstalling and then reinstalling Developer Suite doesn't help. Is there any patch I need to install to get this to work?. Any help is much appreciated.
