Unable to deploy app form Eclipse Luna on Glassfish 4.0 or 4.1 with JDK8

I am unable to deploy an app form Eclipse Luna on Glassfish 4.0 or 4.1 with JDK8.

I am getting "Unable to initialize Runner" message when adding webapp to my Glassfish server in Eclipse.

The same app can be deployed from admin console, or on a JDK7-based Glassfish.
