Unable to delete records

Hi All,

We are develoing a custom form where there are 2 data blocks:

DB1 Master
DB2 Detail

DB2 is a multi record block where some of the fields are mandatory. Delete allowed is set to YES for DB2.
If there are some records, say 4, i am able to delete the bottom 3 but not able to delete the first one. On deleting the first one, only the fields are getting cleared and the message displays down below 'Field must be entered.' Please let me know how to delete the records in this block.

Also, we have a field that is used for storing line numbers that are being generated automatically. Wondering if that is the field that is causing the issue.

Any pointers on this would be really helpful.
