unable to connect as sysdba

888326Sep 15 2011 — edited Sep 19 2011
Hi all,

Initially I tried to shut down the database. So when I issued the command 'shutdown', it took abt 1 hr and still there was no response. So I aborted the operation.

Now when I again try to connect to my database, it says,

ERROR:
ORA-01090: shutdown in progress - connection is not permitted

I tried to connect as sysdba.. But it says,
ERROR:
ORA-09817: Write to audit file failed.
Linux-x86_64 Error: 28: No space left on device
ORA-09945: Unable to initialize the audit trail file
Linux-x86_64 Error: 28: No space left on device

Please help me in resolving this error..

Thanks..
