Unable to add JPanel/JFrame Form to Java Application in JDeveloper 12c

Good morning.

I recently downloaded JDeveloper 12c (version 12.2.1) to try and get a feel for how it differs from 11g, and have come across an issue. I have created a Java Desktop Application, and been able to add a new class to it just fine. However, when I try to add a new JPanel or JFrame to the application (New -> Swing/AWT -> JPanel Form), I get an error message saying "Called DataObject.find on null" (see attachement) Nothing happens beyond that.

Is there some extension I don't have installed correctly, or is there something I'm doing wrong?
