Unable to access oracle web application remotely

2709324Jul 8 2014 — edited Jul 9 2014

I've installed Oracle Express according to the docs (Oracle® Database Express Edition) in a unix oracle-6.5-x64 box. The installation was successful, I'm able to start a sqlplus session by running 'sqplus system/<password>' in the host machine.

Now I want to access the web application (I think it's name is apex) remotely (my host is headless). So I've run the following command:

EXEC DBMS_XDB.SETLISTENERLOCALACCESS(FALSE);

When I navigate to: http://192.168.0.1:8080 or http://192.168.0.1:8080/apex I get a 404.

Some extra info:

- When I navigate to: http://192.168.0.1 I get a "It works"

- I have disabled iptables (etc/init.d/iptables stop)

- netstat -lnptu on the host gives me:
