Unable see reverse engineered columns of a synonym in ODI

We use ODI 11.1.1.5. We are using a synonym as source in one of the interfaces.

We have reverse engineered the synonym and able to see it in model folder. But unable to see the columns of the synonym in model.

I can see the data/ view data on synonym in ODI model but cant see the columns .

We are able to see columns and data of the synonym in SQL developer too.

Can any one pls help if we are missing any steps in the procedure.
