The HP_WMI module is not longer packaged with the UEK7 Kernel, this results in HP Laptops not being able to activate active cooling of the CPU or GPU.
As per below, the driver was packaged in the kernel-uek-modules until version 5.15.0.-100.96.32.
Does anyone know why this driver was removed, as it seems like an oversight to me, it is still included in the RHEL kernel so i doubt it was for a security reason.
