Turning off listener.log?
MarkVDec 6 2007 — edited Dec 7 2007I have a huge listener.log file (around 9GB) and it is causing storage issues. Is it safe to turn the logging off in the lstnctl? Another alternative is to turn it off, rename the listener.log file and then turn back on and archive the old listener file?
Also, having a file this big on a Unix system, is it possible that turning the logging off will increase system performance?
Thanks,
