pardon me for the long name I am a student and very new to solaris I have managed to get through the installation process but I believe when setting up the local host, network config and internet during the installlation process I did not do it correctly I am green and kindly need help
due to my inexperience I dont know what Information I can give about the problem without instruction
I need to get the internet working properly and fix the drivers for some reason the sound gives an error message that there is no sound devise

I want to eventually transer all control from windows to solaris and continue my education from there

I am new sorry in advance if I sound a little green but you have to start somewhere

I have been reading all over the forum regarding internet not working and alike but I feel I really need your help all my efforts have failed or made it worse
please help?
