Trouble from the Two Kernels from Linux 6.1

roikay - oracleJul 6 2011 — edited Oct 26 2011
I have installed the Linux6.1

During loading the object OS, I find I have two option:
one is Oracle Linux Server-uek(2.6.32-100.34.1.el6uek.x86_64)
The other is Oracle Linux Server (2.6.32-131.0.15.e16.x86_64)
What is the difference of them two?
I google it and find some info from http://oss.oracle.com/ol6/docs/RELEASE-NOTES-U1-en.html
I know the first is from Oracle, second is from the Redhat.

My problem is following:
If I select the first, I couldn't display my X system, I only can see my mouse, how to get my desktop back?
If I select the second, I couldn't load the /dev/vmmon for VMware workstation latest.
