Tree expanding nodes (JS or JQuery)

Hi guys,

Is there a way to expand apex tree nodes by using javascript? Maybe apex already has defined function for this functionality. I mean i am looking for some kind of tree.opennode("nodename") function.

Apex version : 4.1

Thank you! I really need this functionality. If you know any other solution for that please share.
