Transpose Columns/Records & Exporting to Excel

skullJan 20 2006
Hi,

Finally to see a tool for Oracle, from Oracle -- keep up the good work. I am sure since this is a first baby step, but Raptor will be at the position to compete with other tools available in the market.

Here is a feature I would like to see which is very useful for the developers or folks looking & comparing data. Benthic Golden has it -- Transpose Columns/Records -- with a single click the rows are displayed as columns and it is easy to compare the data side wise.

So also, why cannot Excel be launched while exporting the data into CSV? Say, when you right click on the data and select Export -> CSV, Raptor should launch Excel and export this data into Excel. Then it is upto the user to save it or discard it. Why do we have to save the file first and then open it from Excel?

Once again, keep up the good work & we all appreciate your efforts.

Regards.
