Total beginner with JC

Hy all!

I am really new to the development of smart card applications and I would be very thankful if someone could answer some questions about it. I am working on Windows XP and I would like to write simple GUI application (Java) that communicates with a Java card. At the beginning this application should get a "Hello world" from the card. OK, I have to write normally Java code with some restrictions (I know these details). Now, how can I install/send my cap files on smart cards? What do I need to send APDU commands and to receive responses from card direct from my GUI application? Any drivers? Development Kit? I hope you will help me to make my first steps with Java cards. Thanks in advance.
