total amount of i/o per second per slave

Bjoern HeinemannNov 4 2015 — edited Nov 5 2015

hi there,

as far as i understand, there is just one slave per sd-device. so when i get the message:

* Warning: total amount of i/o per second per slave (130779) greater than 50000.

* You may need to adjust your total slave count (see 'jvms=' in documentation).

* This run actively used 1 slaves.

when performing 2k seq-write tests to one single lun, there is not much i can do about exceeding the 50000 iops per slave, right?

what exactly does this warning mean? do i get wrong results?

thanks in advance

bjoern
