I just downloaded the latest version of SQL Developer in order to use the Database Diff utility to create an ALTER script that will make the underlying DDL the same on each schema within the database. When running the tool the first time and connecting to the database, the menu option Tools : Database Diff and Tools : Database Copy are both greyed out.
What do I need to do in order to get to the utility? For instance, is there anything that needs to have focus in order for the menu options to be 'live'?
