Too many locks showing in OEM

f9smskDec 25 2016 — edited Dec 27 2016

Hi there,

(2 Node RAC - 11G R2 - Solaris 9)

when I open OEM->Database Locks Page and select "All Database Locks" from drop drawn list, I can see too many sessions with really high value in "Seconds In Wait" column. the values of this column are in range of about 1,000 to 2,000,000 seconds. but when I select other drop drawn list options (blocking locks and user locks) there will not sessions with considerable amount of waiting in that column. the performance of database is really good. Number of waited sessions is in range of 10-20 sessions and there is no long running query in the server as well (according to OEM->SQL Monitoring Page).

The sessions that are showing in ALL DATABASE LOCKS page are from several schemas of database including user schemas and system schemas like SMON and LGWR.

I am wondering what are these locks and how can I get rid of them.

Regards
