Too many archive logs are generating

Hi,

I have Oracle RAC 10.2.0.5 on windows server 2008 R2.

Architecture is : 2 node

A lot of archivelogs are being generated.

SQL> select trunc(COMPLETION_TIME,'DD') Day, thread#, round(sum(BLOCKS*BLOCK_SIZ
E)/1048576) MB,count(*) Archives_Generated from v$archived_log
  2  group by trunc(COMPLETION_TIME,'DD'),thread# order by 1;

So if we analyze we are generating about 350 GB per day.

I have auditing enabled. Can this be the cause. How can i make sure auditing is causing excessive log switches.
