Toad : Access Violation of address error

Hi ,
I am getting Access Violation of address error while opening Toad . I am using Oracle 11g client and 9i server . Accessing remotely .dont have TNS in my system . I can able to access thru sqlplus whereas Toad is giving Access Violation Address Error.
