To get the one year back Exact Date From a given Date

Hi,

I need to get the Exact one year Back date From a given Date. can you please help how to create it. I am also Do some analysis what I am Finding is

SELECT TO_CHAR(CURRENT_TIMESTAMP-365,'MM/DD/YYYY') FROM DUAL

Please help is there any other way to get it..
