TNSPING - SQL*PLUS - no response
585309Aug 28 2007 — edited Aug 29 2007after a silent install of Oracle Client 10.2, I do the following:
tnsping {hostname}
and i get nothing at all, . . .
same happen with a
sqlplus {username}@{hostname}
Like all i did was a hit the Enter button, . .
RedHat Enterprise Linux 4
it is throwing me for a loop, . .
