tnsping sid

I am wondering if i can resolve tnsping through tnsnames.ora without any changes to sqlnet.ora (its prod and no-changes can be performed), currently its resolving through ldap

oracle:tulppwradb02:efrp>tnsping efrp

Used LDAP adapter to resolve the alias
