tnsnames.ora server=dedicated or server=shared
59654Mar 23 2006 — edited Mar 23 2006We have an application which uses a pooled number of database sessions. The application comes through 2 load balanced servers. We have the tns entry on the load balanced servers with the server option not defined. We are wondering if we should have this set to the server=dedicated option.
I realize this is vague but was wondering if anyone had any comments on the server=dedicated option vs. the server=shared option using mts.
