TNSLSNR.exe shutting down

I'm running Windows XP Professional. I just installed Oracle 9i Database and I'm able to connect to my database. However, TNSLSNR.exe keeps shutting down. I get a windows prompt to send/don't send an error report. If I restart TNSListener, I'm able to connect again. Here is the error signature:

szAppName : TNSLSNR.EXE szAppVer : 0.0.0.0 szModName : orantcp9.dll
szModVer : 0.0.0.0 offset : 00005732

Why does this keep happening?
