TNS file on Linux Ubuntu

user640001Mar 29 2011 — edited Mar 29 2011
Hi,

Oracle10gXE database installed on Linux Fedora14

Installed oracle10gXE client on ubuntu client machine. (oracle-xe-client_10.2.0.1-1.0_i386.deb)

Now for connecting to the database server from the client machine, I could not able to find tnsnames.ora file in the oracle_home directory on client machine.

what is the path for tnsnames.ora file ? so that I can edit the same and can connect to database server.

Regards
