TNS-12542: TNS:address already in use TNS-12560: TNS:protocol adapter error

Hi there,
I'm running a 10.2.0.5 RAC on RedHat 5.5.

I'm sure all some of you are familiar with the "TNS-00512: Address already in use" error. However, this one isn't straightforward.
TNS-12542: TNS:address already in use
TNS-12560: TNS:protocol adapter error
TNS-00512: Address already in use
Linux Error: 98: Address already in use

We recently migrated storage over to new. The listener was still running when the software was cloned to a new mount and then transitioned over. It's no longer running, but because the listener was up during the copy of the software I can no longer bring up the listener, whether it be under a different port or another Oracle Home, I still receive the same "TNS-12542: TNS:address already in use" error. The firewall is disabled. I did a telnet to the port and nothing's listening on it. I've tried clearing up the socket files under /var/tmp/.oracle and starting the listener. I even tried rebooting both RAC nodes. Nothing seems to work. Any help will be appreciated.
Thank you
