Hi,
I install Oracle 8i in remote machine.
I have static Ip in remote machine
OS 2003 server on remote machine.
I try to connect remote database from client machine.
I have check ping from client machine to server. It's working
I check port connection with following commond. but it give error
Telnet <IP> <Port>
Error : ...could not open connection to the host,on port 1521..
I have check also TNSPING. but it give me error
Tnsping <IP>
Error : TNS-12535 : TNS:Operation timed out
So what can i do??
