TNS-01101: Could not find service name LISTENER_SCAN1

Duncan GardnerNov 26 2010 — edited Nov 30 2010
Using instructions in ID 1058646, which are a bit vague, I'm trying to set up SCAN for a 10gr2 db in a 11gr2 RAC, in active/passive mode.

I can run this, and it looks OK (node names santized):
$ /u01/app/11.2.0/grid/bin/srvctl status scan_listener
SCAN Listener LISTENER_SCAN1 is enabled
SCAN listener LISTENER_SCAN1 is running on node racnode02
SCAN Listener LISTENER_SCAN2 is enabled
SCAN listener LISTENER_SCAN2 is running on node racnode01
SCAN Listener LISTENER_SCAN3 is enabled
SCAN listener LISTENER_SCAN3 is running on node racnode01

But when I use lsnrctl, I can't see the lsiteners shown above. Running lsnrctl for 10g or 11g dbs, as oracle or root, on either node, I get:
/u01/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_2/bin/lsnrctl service LISTENER_SCAN1

LSNRCTL for Linux: Version 10.2.0.4.0 - Production on 26-NOV-2010 19:03:30
