Throubles installing apex 4.0.2 using pre-existent database 10g 10.2.0.4.0

Hello people. All is blue?
Well.. I'm encountering throubles during isntallation of apex 4.0.2 into a pre existing database 10gR2 10.2.0.4.0 on a linux box.
I've followed the doc acompaning the product, to install "Oracle HTTP Server with mod_plsql".
My first doubt is: Do I need to install "HTML DB" from oracle10gR2 companion CD on a separete oracle home?
