Sometimes my DB hangs and I see "Thread 1 cannot allocate new log" entries in my alert.log. I know that there are lots of information about that topic on the internet, but I already increased my redo files, I now have 5 groups, each 500mb and still get that message. It seems that I get those messages since I set my tables to a parallel degree 4 (instead of no parallelism) can there be a relation?
Does it help when I set my tables in NOLOGGING mode?
I am running my 11g DB in Archivelog mode btw.
Thanks for youf help!
