thin provisioning question

I am using Oracle VM 3.0.3 and doing a POC. I was wondering why my physical disks (Virtual disks presented from SAN) say thin provision.
If I present a new virtual disk from SAN, I can not modify thin provision property( I cannot uncheck the box).
Our SAN is an HP EVA 8400 and is not licensed for thin provisioning (no license installed) and yet it still shows in
the Oracle VM manager as " Thin Provision: Yes". Has anybody ran into this issue?
