The Meaning of SYSDATE@!

pnoskoSep 24 2010 — edited Sep 24 2010
I saw this in some code and can find no references to the meaning of "@!". It appears to be ignored. Has anyone ever seen this before? I saw it in a TO_CHAR, but it works in the statement below. Thanks.

SELECT SYSDATE, SYSDATE@! FROM DUAL;
