This is what happens when you take input about language additions from script-kiddies, lazy people and the technically incompetent (and then follow the suggestions and incorporate them into your language). Not
all of them are horrible, but I'd certainly never use any of them. Once again, Microsoft, you've out-done yourself in the stupidity department. C# 2.0 is/was a
great language, 3.0 is scary and 4.0 makes my eyes bleed. (Just when I thought it couldn't get any
worse...)
I can honestly say that the
only feature that I've longed for in Java (that is not present and that looks like it'll
never be present) is the unsigned integer type. This - especially as of late - has nearly been the death of me.
