The difference between OP and GP

843851Mar 4 2003 — edited Mar 26 2003
In the GP 2.1, I found terms OpenPlatform and GlobalPlatform. They are 2 different classes as mentioned in the spec (pg 140, pg 163)

Both of them mention about life cycle state. And under section 9.1.1, it contains life cycle status coding as well. Can anyone tell me what is the similarity and differences between three of them?

P/S:
The status of APPLET_SELECTABLE is different in pg 140 with pg 142. Which is the correct one?
