Just to give some feedback to the new zfs appliance software 8.7.0.
Just did an upgrade this morning to the latest version on a cluster zfs appliance ZS3-2 with 6 Trays.
So here it goes the firmware upgrade went fine without any issues.
The only thing to think/and check is the firmware upgrade that happens after the upgrade
Once the upgrade is done on both nodes its starts updating the firmware off the Trays and the disks this can take a long time(Here it took a lot of time) but worked perfectly
Once that is done you should again reboot the nodes to make sure that the Ilom are also updated ( that worked also perfectly)
So Good job to Oracle engineers that now the ILOM is being updated also instead of doing it you self.
That was just a little feedback to oracle but also to other people that re doing or going to update the zfs appliances to 8.7.0
