the best way to replicate archives

KeenOnOracleJul 31 2008 — edited Aug 4 2008
hello friends

I would like to ask you guys for a tip.

I need to replicate my db, by applying archives from my DB to a remote node.
My idea is to do it once a day, at night.

do you guys think the best way is to replicate archives once a day or writte them every archive log is generated ? and apply them would be a once night job or every archive generated is applyed direct to my remote node ?

I`m readin a lot about secure backup, would it be the best way instead purely RMAN ?

Can someone share with me the experience of replicate data beetwen remote nodes ?

Version 10.2.0.1.0 Windows Server 2003

Tks a lot
