Textarea issue in APEX Version 4.2.1.00.08

Hi All,

the maximum character we can use in textarea is upto 2000 due to this I am unable to make some requirement in APEX. Could you please let me know how to increase the size unlimited in 4.2 version.so that I can use unlimited character in textarea.
