APEX

I have read in the forum about Apex applications that have been deployed. I was wondering how these applications were tested. What was the company or developer's preferred QA and testing methodlogy?

I have been reading about the Oracle Application Testing Suite, specifically the Functional Testing for Web Applications module. Has anybody used this application to set up automated tests on their Apex applications? How long did it take to build the Visual Scripts. How well did the application recognize web page elements and other features such as Javascript and AJAX?

Have your testing schedules improved with its use? With the exception of major changes to an Apex application's functions and layouts between software releases, did the automated scripts remain repeatable and useful?
