Test environment in Vmware

user11230511Aug 11 2020 — edited Aug 18 2020

Hello

I install Oracle KVM in Vmware to try it. I install Virtuelization manager as separte VM in Vmware and 2 node also as VM in Vmware. I also install another linux distribution to simulate iSCSI storage. Everything seems to work well. I integrate those two node in cluster, I connected iSCSI storage. I install VM in KVM enviroment. It also work well, HA working also. Only think it is not working is network, but not totally. VM is not available out of host on which it is located. So if I have two VM on same host, they see each other over network. If I migrate one to another host they do not see each other.

Does anyone try this configuration in Vmware, is it possible, or I just making a beginner-s mistake.

Note: I made another network in nodes. I define it in Virtuelization manager, it is bridge network, but as I said network card is Vmware virtualized. I also try to put Vms on management network because it works (nodes see each others) but situation is the same.

Please Help
