Test connection to My Oracle Support fails

msncookieAug 26 2015 — edited Aug 27 2015

Hello,

I am fairly new to OEM cloud control but can't seem to find the log to troubleshoot this.  It appears CC cannot talk to MOS from my server, even though I can wget/curl there directly from the server just fine.  I am trying Setup -> Proxy Settings -> My Oracle Support.  I do not have a proxy between this server and the web so I choose "No Proxy" and then click on the Test button.  It fails with:

Failed to connect to My Oracle Support using the URL "https://support.oracle.com". Verify the proxy settings. Try using your web browser, which has the same proxy settings, to test the URL "https://support.oracle.com". If you are still unable to connect, then check the OMS logs for more details about the failure.

Can anyone explain why this would be happening, or give me a hint where the log would be?  I can't seem to find any recently-written logs under my $OMS_HOME location.

Also, would anyone know how CC handles agents on different subnets?  That is, my server will be connected to a web VLAN for Tomcat instance monitoring, and also multihomed on a DB VLAN to monitor Oracle Database instances.  If the server can communicate on those subnets OK, is there anything I need to do in CC for it to recognize those networks?

Thank you!
